Volume 2996 is the proceedings of 32nd International Symposium on Rarefied Gas Dynamics (4–8 July 2022, Seoul, Republic of Korea)
Title information
Summary of this volume: Since the first symposium in Nice, France in 1958, the year after the launch of Sputnik, the International Symposium on RGD has been held every other year worldwide. The symposium aims at developing core scientific knowledge and practical applications but also fostering future generations around the world to contribute to the diverse and emerging subjects in the field of RGD. RGD32 covered theoretical, computational, and experimental studies on topics such as Boltzmann equations, numerical methods for kinetic equations, DSMC and MD, micro- & nano-scale flows and heat transfer, hypersonic flows, vacuum technology, and plasma flows as well as emerging topics such as rarefied flows in porous media, bulk viscosity and relaxation processes, collective dynamics, and nanoscale transport phenomena at interfaces.
These proceedings will be of interest to: professors, researchers, postdocs, and graduate students in the fields of aerospace and mechanical engineering, computational physics, plasma physics, mathematics, and chemical physics.
