Title information
Summary of this volume: The theme of the 5th International Conference on Earth Science, Mineral, and Energy (ICEMINE) 2022 was Earth Resource Management as a Prime Mover to Achieve Economic Recovery Post Pandemic. More than 60 presenters and speakers from several universities and companies in Indonesia as well as contributor countries such as South Korea, Japan, Brazil, and Canada participated in this conference.
Indonesia has abundant natural resources, both renewable and finite. The utilization of natural resources needs to be adjusted as the area develops and regulations need to be implemented to control enhancement. Energy sector activities should be done with the concept of environmental sustainability from exploration to extraction. This concept could preserve the energy resources for the future, as well as improve economic growth. Post COVID-19 pandemic, community lives have not fully recovered from the impact on all sectors of life in society, including the economic sector. Not only has this affected the environmental sustainability issue. But the exploration, exploitation, and extraction processes have also faced challenges from it, and may now have opportunities to optimize the national economic growth and energy resilience.
These proceedings will be of interest to: graduate students, PhD/postdocs, and professors in education, the mining industry, or the petroleum industry.
