Summary of this volume: The 4th International Conference on Chemistry and Material Sciences (IC2MS) was a consortium conference from the Chemistry Departments of Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Universitas Brawijaya (UB), and Universitas Negeri Jember (UNEJ) in collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pahang. This conference was an event for researchers in the fields of Chemistry and Material Sciences to disseminate and publish their research. The theme of this iteration of the conference was "The Role of Chemistry, Material, and Biomaterial Sciences in Sustainable Development Goals." The topics were inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, material science: synthetic and characterization, biomaterials, tissue engineering and pharmaceuticals industry, material science in construction engineering, renewable energy and fuel cell, computational chemistry, and material science.
