Summary of this volume: The 38th International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society (PPS-38) was hosted by Empa and was attended by nearly 750 participants from 41 countries. Besides traditional symposia about polymer processing, the PPS-38 program included five special symposia in additive manufacturing, medical applications, polymers at surfaces and interfaces, microplastics, and soft robotics, leading to a total number of 21 symposia. These proceedings contain papers from prominent professors, scientists, students, and engineers active in the field of polymer processing.
