Title information
Summary of this volume: The 7th International Conference "Heat and Mass Transfer and Hydrodynamics in Swirling Flows" continues a series of events that started in 2002. This conference on fundamental studies of swirling flows and theirs application in industry. The volume contains papers that describe state of the art for swirling and vortical flows, modern methods and instruments of their numerical and experimental investigations, recent results on combustion, hydrodynamics and heat transfer in complex turbulent jets and streams. Specific topical areas include heat and mass transfer and hydrodynamics on micro and nanoscale, swirling flows' application in the elements of gas turbine, airspace and power engineering fields, new approaches to the vortex effect.
These proceedings will be of interest to: Graduate students and PhD/postdoc from thermophysical institutions; Engineers of gas turbine, airspace and power engineering industrial companies; Employee of laboratory on fluid dynamics and combustion.
